God Wants You Happy?

"Everybody wants to be happy! God wants you to be happy!" preached Pastor Nice Guy.

I say; God doesn't want you happy. He wants you dead!

He wants you dead to self so He can live through you!

When you are dead to self, He can be joyful through you.
Supernatural joy can well up within like a river flowing through you.

When you are dead to self, He can love through you.

It's not you trying your best to love... it's Him, the Lover of our souls loving through you!

Galatians 2:20
"I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live..."
(Thank you God!!! What freedom!)
"...but Christ lives in me."
(I can only shout Halleluyahhh!)

Pure and simple GRACE.

So now that it's January, fasting fever is all over these churches again.

Fasting to "kill" the sinful nature. Put to death the old adamic nature.

How foolish it is when men try to accomplish what God has already finished!

First of all, killing the sinful nature of man is something no man can do.
Secondly, God in Christ HAS DONE IT ALREADY AT THE CROSS!
